Giving Thanks to All of You!
I hope you had a great Thanksgiving. Getting together with family and friends is always great. As another year draws nearer to a close and we have experienced the Thanksgiving holiday and its expression of gratitude for the things in our life, large and small, that bring us joy, I would like to take the opportunity to thank you. Because of you, I am able to do what I love every day. Helping families prepare for their futures in life and after gives me great joy. Helping people obtain much needed benefits to provide for their health through the Medi-Cal and VA Aid & Attendance Non Service Connected Disability Benefit programs offers me great personal fulfillment as well.
Throughout this year I have been humbled by the many clients who have returned to use my services. I have known some of you for many years and am always happy to see a friendly, familiar face in my office. Additionally, your referrals have allowed me to continue growing my practice and reaching out to new people. I have been honored by the many new clients who have let me into their lives by asking that I create a new estate plan or help obtain benefits.
In my office, we are aware that estate planning requires a very personal connection between the attorney and the client. Because it is often a lifelong relationship, it is important that you like the attorney with whom you are dealing. It is absolutely vital to our continuing relationship that we trust each other. Many of you have shared intimate details regarding your family relationships, finances, and health concerns this year. You have shared your hopes for the future and your fears. It has only been possible for us to produce great results through this close relationship.
It is sometimes hard to believe that I am approaching 38 years in practice. Throughout this time, I have been acquainted with many different kinds of people and families. Your stories and memories of loved ones remind me how appreciative I am of my own family. Your unique experiences remind me why it is so important that I continue working with you and your family regularly to review and update your plan after it has been created.
This year, as you kick off the holiday season, please know that I am thankful to you for your patronage and for your friendship.
