Attorney’s Fees Schedule
We are accepting new clients. For many services in the estate planning arena, we generally quote a flat (as opposed to hourly) fee. If not a flat fee then we would work on an hourly basis. Because there are so many variables involved, and because we know the client wants to be aware of how the fees will be charged before retaining us, for many types of cases we typically offer a no charge, no obligation, complimentary consultation. This usually lasts approx. 30 minutes during which we can get to know each other and see if there is anything we can assist you with and whether you wish us to do so. At that meeting we can usually tell you how the fees would be charged and even provide a fee range estimate for your case (with the fee being pinned down at a subsequent meeting). Please see the “Our Approach” section of our page “Working With Financial Advisors” for details on how this all works.
In any case, prior to retaining us, we would put this fee and the fee agreement in writing.
